About me

I earned a BFA in Graphic Design and Illustration at Frostburg State University in December 2009 and later a Post-Baccalaureate certificate in Interactive Media Design at Towson University in summer 2012. I've been working on freelance projects here and there ever since. I work full time at Ignition72 as a front-end web developer in Baltimore. I thrive to problem solve.

I have a background in creative writing, namely poetry. Currently, I am hoping to develop a visual novel.

I'm also trying to break into designing board games. I just did the art for a card game called Trifecta (game design by Zoran Dobrijevic), which was successfully funded on Kickstarter. My boyfriend and I really enjoy board games and like to host weekly/monthly game nights with many of our friends.

I like to try everything, at least once. I lean strongly towards computer production, but mostly due to time constraints and out of convenience. However, I love the feel of oil paints, clay scratchboard, linoleum prints, acrylic paints and so on. As for my graphics, I try to create all of the artwork BUT in places of tight deadlines I am an avid user of http://sxc.hu.

I also love to craft jewelry and knit, among other things. I am on Etsy.

My favorite artists: (current) Alex Gozblau, Tsevis Visual Design, Lois van Baarle, Casey Ballinger, and Edwin Rhemrev; (old school) Tamara de Lempicka, Gustav Klimt, Alphonse Mucha

My favorite writers: (still current) Russell Edson and Matthea Harvey. I love prose poetry.
